Get ready for the new gardening year!

We’ve a full calendar of horticultural delights for you to enjoy this year. There’s everything from inspiring talks and outings, to plant sales and seasonal shows! You can find the full listings in our annual programme.

Our next meeting will be on Tuesday, 3rd February 7.30pm at The Triangle Centre, when Claire Harrison will be giving us a fascinating talk about ‘Landscaping as Art Form’.

This year there’s also the opportunity to enjoy the following garden visits:

  • Nymans, West Sussex – a garden lovers’ home for all seasons, with an extensive, yet intimate, garden set around a romantic house and ruins.
  • Longstock Park Water Garden, Stockbridge – one of the finest water gardens in the world.
  • Sheffield Park and Garden, East Sussex – a Grade I listed horticultural work of art, originally designed with help from Capability Brown. (Note all visits are prioritised to LHS members).

Interested in joining LHS? You’re welcome to come along to any of our speaker evenings or other events at The Triangle Centre, Liss, or simply complete our ‘Contact Us’ form.

Already a member and keen to get more involved? The Society is entirely volunteer-run and we’re always pleased to welcome new volunteers. There are lots of ways to get involved, just get in touch with us to find the role for you.

Happy “growing and showing” in 2026! We look forward to seeing you at a future event.
